Lauranne van der Weiden

Lauranne van der Weiden-Fruytier has been working as a secretary at Fruytier Lawyers in Business since September 2015.

In 2015 she successfully completed the PABO (primary education teacher), after which she, as a real jack-of-all-trades, first chose a completely different direction and started working as a paraveterinairy at a veterinary practice. The transition to the legal profession was actually quite natural. During her studies, Lauranne was already assisting as a substitute. When the opportunity arose for a secretarial position, she seized it with both hands. The diversity of cases that arise at the office makes her feel like a fish in water. “I enjoy tackling and organising different things. Making sure things are taken care of. That is exactly what appeals to me in my current position. No day is the same because of the diversity of my tasks’‘.

More and more Lauranne has taken on other tasks and for some time now she has also been fulfilling the role of office manager within the office. “I like it when tasks are carried out quickly. Making sure that my colleagues can work as optimally as possible gives me great satisfaction. Problems are challenges, challenges that I like to take on’‘.

Besides her work at Fruytier, Lauranne is mother of three and active in equestrian sports.
