Koen Boonekamp
Koen completed a master’s degree in Business & Law at Utrecht University. During his studies, he spent a semester studying at Queens University Belfast and gained relevant work experience at a trust office and various national and international law firms.
Koen specialises in corporate and contract law. He has a focus on mergers & acquisitions, (financing) transactions and corporate governance. Koen supports and advises clients on corporate law disputes, frequently drafts shareholder agreements and advises international clients on compliance with corporate law obligations of Dutch entities. Koen is also involved in issuing legal opinions.
Due to his curiosity, Koen dives deep into the subject matter and has a good understanding of complex (legal) doctrines. This enables Koen to clearly place the client’s specific wishes within the legal framework and thus come up with creative solutions. Koen also attaches great importance to client needs and likes to think along with clients in order to achieve the desired result.
